Today, August 18, 2014 is the conclusion of the Apostolic visit of Pope Francis to Korea. The Pope will preside a mass at the Myeong Dong Cathedral for Peace and Reconciliation.
In recent days, we have been made aware of the perilous and life threatening situation that our Christian brethren in Northern Iraq are going through. As a gesture of spiritual unity with our persecuted brethren in Northern Iraq and in response to the call of the Holy Father that all faithful in the whole Christian raise a voice of ceaseless prayer for the restoration of Peace, we will be conducting a Holy Mass today at 3pm, the hour of Great Mercy as Votive Mass for Peace and Reconciliation in Iraq.
Everyone is invited to participate in the said mass. Let us be united with one another in this quest for peace.
