Pinta (to Draw) is the reinvented national art contest with drawing (for elementary) and poster making (for secondary) events. Consciousness through art is a widely accepted methodology in promoting any form of advocacy. Through art, especially drawing or painting, participants to the event express their own understanding of a certain theme in a very expressive masterpiece that people admire. By injecting fire safety as a theme to art contest open up a certain level of awareness to both the artist and audience.
Drawing Contest is open to all Elementary School Students while the Poster Making Contest is open to all Junior and Senior High School Students.
Entry pieces must illustrate an artistic interpretation of the theme “Matuto Ka. Sunog Iwasan na!”
Criteria for Regional/National Judging: 40% Theme Relevance 30% Creativity and Originality 30% Aesthetic Appeal
Awards and Prizes (Drawing and Poster Making Contest): 1st Place (Php 25,000.00 + Trophy) 2nd Place (Php 15,000.00 + Trophy) 3rd Place (Php 10,000.00 + Trophy)
Both Contest may be held and administered by the City/Municipal Fire Stations; School administration.
The winners will advance to the Provincial Level, Regional Level and National Level, respectively.
Final judging in the National Level will be on the 2nd week of July 2020.
